I know tumblr Is deeply xenophobic to nations that aren’t poc or don’t have more than 70% of its territory made of colonies like ruZZia but I’m fed up with sofa activists screaming about human & animal rights staying dead silent about another massive attack on Kherson & UA south in general.
This week russians blow up water reservoir in Nova Kahovka on the occupied left side of Kherson.
More than 40 villages / cities are under water.
Hundreds of dead bodies are floating in the water in Oreshki
Hundreds had to evacuated or be rescued
Animals in the zoo are all dead and dozens of other animals like dogs, pigs, cows, cats, deers & etc are floating on the water among destroyed buildings
Many people are left without water (including me)
A lot of crops will not get watered and will die
All the sea animals are dead and also floating around or rotting on the beach
This ecocide is going to continue harm the environment for years after because the water become contaminated with washed up cemeteries / people & animals who wasn’t rescued, radioactive waste that was under the sea & etc.
Due to floods caused by the russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka HPP, the house-museum that belonged to ukrainian naive artist Polina Rayko is now underwater. A moment of appreciation for her art, she is one of my favorite naive artists
